The TOM:Calgary Makeathon was a resounding success! There were many great projects designed to help create access.
Jack is a visual effects artist. With his hearing impairment, it was difficult for Jack to receive feedback on his work — an important part of the process in the production of visual effects. He was worried that it would be a barrier to moving up in his career.
The Neil Squire Society’s Makers Making Change initiative, in collaboration with the Tikkun Olam Makers (TOM) Alberta group, is holding the first LipSync Buildathon in Calgary, Alberta on August 25th and 26th, in conjunction with the 2017 TOM:Calgary Makeathon.
We are hiring! We’re looking for a Project Manager for our Makers Making Change initiative, someone who will work hard to continue the rapid growth and development of the initiative, particularly across Canada.
