Mike, who was looking to re-enter the workforce, has an intellectual disability and hearing issues. Despite these barriers, he was very motivated to find work and prove to an employer that he would be a valuable asset.
Before her stroke, Cassandra was an active 22 year old woman who worked in retail and enjoyed spending time with her friends. Now, she works towards self-employment with the help of Working Together.
Charles Levasseur, Regional Manager / Assistive Technology and Learning Disability Specialist, won a Disability Awareness Week Provincial award on May 30th at the annual Disability Awareness Week legislative breakfast.
Chloe, a Grade 11 student in Moncton who has ADHD, found part-time work while she goes to school thanks to the Working Together program.
