Selma is a senior who is currently looking for work, and is trying to upgrade her English teaching certification so that she can teach English as a second language. She has hearing loss, and found she needed new hearing aids.
Hearing about her friends using their computers made Jill want to learn too. She also has “lots of pictures” that she likes sharing with others. Already familiar with Neil Squire, she decided to enroll in Distance Computer Comfort.
An extension of the non-profit Neil Squire, which uses technology, knowledge and passion to empower Canadians with disabilities, Burnaby-based Neil Squire Hearing Solutions has been working to bring the most advanced hearing aid technology to anyone to the Greater Vancouver area at an affordable price for the past four years.
On Friday, our BC staff took part in a networking event with our BC SCI Network partners Spinal Cord Injury BC, the Disability Foundation, BC Wheelchair Basketball, and BC Wheelchair Sports Association.
