A Great Day at the Ball Park for Neil Squire

On June 25th, our team had a great time as the featured non-profit for RBC and the Vancouver Canadians’ We Care Wednesday game. While the Canadians fell just short in a 5-4 loss, our Burnaby staff and friends enjoyed a great evening at Rogers Field at Nat Bailey Stadium.

Jaxon has always been interested in technology, whether it be computers or experimenting with Arduino boards. His other passion is helping people, so much so that he even tried making his own business when he was younger to help seniors with their technology needs — he learned coding building a website for the business.

“[Creative Employment Options] Geared Me up to Get Back Into the Workforce”

Nate wasn’t sure if he was ready to fully jump back into the workforce. He had lost his job, and had recently undergone multiple difficult surgeries. A previous participant in our programs, he decided to join our Creative Employment Options program, initially thinking he’d try and look for something lighter.

Purme Foundation of South Korea Visits Neil Squire

We were thrilled to welcome the Purme Foundation to our head office in Burnaby yesterday for a tour. Purme Foundation, established in 2005, is a non-profit organization based in South Korea, specializing in supporting individuals with disabilities.
