Almoneda works as a pharmacy assistant, and her job includes filling prescriptions and answering phones. She has hearing loss, and she found that she was often having to ask customers and co-workers to repeat themselves.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Burnaby Board of Trade After Hours Mixer on Thursday, October 23rd. In all, we had approximately 70 guests, and it was great to connect with fellow Burnaby Board of Trade members, professionals, and members of our community.
On Thursday at our Burnaby Board of Trade After Hours Mixer, we were honoured to receive a $250,000 donation from the RBC Foundation towards our Empower3D employment program for youth with disabilities.
Connect with dozens of small business owners and local professionals at the Burnaby Board of Trade (BBOT) After Hours Mixer hosted by Neil Squire. The evening will feature multiple hands-on stations to try out our innovative assistive technologies. This event is complimentary to BBOT members, so sign up in advance to secure your spot.
