Maker Spotlight: Garry Bartsch

Garry Bartsch is an inventor like his father before him. “That’s in my blood, I guess. I’ve always liked drawing things, and I’ve always liked designing things, and it’s been a hobby — it’s enjoyable, but it’s also useful to me.”

As a C5-C6 quadriplegic, 3D printing gives Garry an avenue to create.

OT Students Make Over 80 Switches in Western University Build

The Makers Making Change chapter in Southern Ontario held a successful first build event at Western University on March 24.Forty Occupational Therapy students at Western participated in the build, each making at least one raindrop switch and a light touch switch — over 80 switches.
