Jaxon has always been interested in technology, whether it be computers or experimenting with Arduino boards. His other passion is helping people, so much so that he even tried making his own business when he was younger to help seniors with their technology needs — he learned coding building a website for the business.
Tyler Fentie, the Accessible Gaming Lead for Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program, was honoured to be invited by the Gyeonggi Rehabilitation Engineering Service Research Support Center to speak at the 2025 International Symposium on Assistive Technology in Seoul, South Korea on June 11th.
On May 29th and 30th, the Makers Making Change team attended the Skills Canada National Competition in Regina, Saskatchewan.
On May 29th, during National AccessAbility Week, we were honoured to receive a Community Access Award from ResourceAbilities recognizing contributions to accessible technology and community driven innovation for individuals with disabilities.
