Marcus, who has depression and anxiety, came to the Neil Squire Society for assistance with searching for customer service positions. With the help of the Working Together program, he gained job-searching skills, interviewing skills, and a new job.
Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and severe hearing loss, Orlee was seeking opportunities in administration or retail that would work with her needs. With Working Together, she learned to customize her cover letters, practiced her interview skills, and finally landed a job.
After injuring his knee and ankle in a car accident, Richard was looking for a position that would play to his strengths and not be physically demanding. With Working Together, he updated his resume and cover letter, gained confidence, and secured a job.
Neil Squire Solutions will be providing assistive technology support to students and teachers at the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, with a focus on helping students with disabilities transition from school to post-secondary education/training or employment.
