During the first week of December, the Makers Making Change team from across Canada came down to our Burnaby Head Office for team meetings and planning sessions, as well as team bonding activities. One activity the team got to participate in was an internal build event for the new LipSync that our research and development team has been hard at work on.
As our Research and Development team works towards the release of the LipSync X later this year, we wanted to shine a light on some of the internal testing our team has been doing.
We are proud to announce the release of four OpenAT joystick devices that were developed as part of the Government of Canada’s Assistive Technology Program.
Neil Squire has received funding from the Government of Canada’s Accessible Technology Program to develop and release at least four cost-effective, customizable joystick-based alternative input devices through its Makers Making Change program.
The results from our research on the accessibility of mobile devices is now available.
