Recently, Gordon Watt, our Distance Training Coordinator, and Jody Dickerson, Assistive Technology Specialist and Trainer, helped SMART Technologies evaluate and improve the accessibility of the SMART Board.
In the latest episode of “We Have Solutions,” our AT Help Desk team talks about using AI as Assistive Technology, the decentralization of technology and assistive technology and what that means for AT users, and finally, they talk about a series of apps designed to keep students engaged and learning during the summer months.
Our team will be at the Rehab Equipment Expo in Castlegar. Clinicians and the public are welcome to attend.
With funds raised by our sixth annual Princess Ball, our Prairie Regional Office has donated four Assistive Technology Resource Kits — each containing upwards of $1,800 worth of specialized assistive technology — to support students with disabilities at Regina General Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan through our Solutions for Schools initiative.
