Gary has been legally blind since birth, making his work quite difficult. Looking for solutions, he learned about WorkBC Assistive Technology Services and decided to apply.
“[It] significantly improved my ability to work, study, read, write, use the computer, keyboard and mouse. I am not in pain or discomfort while sitting at the computer workstation. I am able to work or study for a longer period of time than prior to the accommodations.”
Fisayo works with a non-profit organization that promotes inclusion and assists immigrants. “I am paraplegic which means I have mobility challenges, and need a functional and light wheelchair to get around at work,” she explains.
