In April of 2023, Natalie attended the first ever build event by Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program in Newfoundland and Labrador with her older sister. Now a Grade 12 student, she’s since become a dedicated volunteer and a champion of the program in her province.
Neil Squire’s Makers Making Change program and Youth Central have partnered up to teach youth STEM based skills and adapt toys for kids with disabilities as part of the Hacking for the Holidays campaign.

Neil Squire has created a new funding opportunity for persons with disabilities in the Fredericton area. The Neil Squire AT Fund was created to help support youth from grades one through twelve in acquiring new or refurbished assistive technology.
Over two days from August 20th to 21st, eight youth with disabilities from British Columbia took part in our first ever Adaptive Gaming Virtual Day Camp, co-hosted by our friends at Technology for Living.
