From the very first meeting with her Job Developer, she was open about her experiences with migraines with aura and anxiety, which sometimes affected her vision, focus, and energy.

Together, they mapped out her goals, identified barriers, and created a plan that prioritized both career growth and well-being. Audrey approached career exploration and job readiness with determination, updating her resume, crafting a versatile cover letter, and enhancing her self-marketing skills.

Interview preparation became an opportunity for building confidence, as she practiced her responses and learned strategies to make a positive first impression. Along the way, guidance on disability disclosure and accommodations empowered her to advocate for her needs, while wellness and self-care strategies helped her thrive both professionally and personally.

With continued support and encouragement, Audrey initially secured a subsidized work experience position, which served as a stepping stone for her to showcase her talents in a supportive environment. Her dedication and the collaborative job development process paid off, and Audrey earned a role as a full-time Business Development Manager, thriving in a role that suits her life and leverages her strengths.
