Nate has cerebral palsy, which affects his balance, fine motor skills, and core strength. In addition, he can have difficulty tracking words when reading.
“Hearing loss has limited my ability to interact with both customers and co-workers. It became necessary for me to ask people to repeat themselves several times in order to understand [them].”
Through Digital Jumpstart, Robert received a new laptop, as well as access to some computer programs. He also received headphones, which helped him hear and concentrate.
Marlene is a certified education assistant at an elementary school. She has hearing loss and needs hearing aids.
