Evan had spent a lot of time bouncing around from one temporary position to another. Despite a post-secondary diploma in Business Accounting, Evan just wasn’t finding anything that suited his needs.
Sarah has always had a passion for teaching and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. However, she has schizoaffective disorder, and with little experience outside of her teaching practicum, she had a hard time finding work. That’s when she turned to the Working Together program.
Harvest House is a non-profit agency in Moncton, New Brunswick that serves community members who struggle with drug and alcohol addictions, mental illness, anger issues and homelessness. With the help of the Neil Squire Society’s Working Together program, they were able to find employment for many of their clients, including Bruce.
Having recently completed his classes at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in office administration, Derek, who was born with cerebral palsy, needed a job.
