22-year-old Brooke, who has a hearing impairment, has a passion for customer service.
Kyle has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and severe learning disabilities. It’s difficult for Kyle to maintain employment without a great deal of support.
Lindy was born with severe cerebral palsy. She also has ataxia, poor balance, and poor speech. Originally from Hong Kong, she immigrated to Canada in 1990.
For Nora, the biggest challenge she faced was “what was going on inside my own head. I had a lot of things happen in a short period of time that were a big blow to my self-confidence,” she says.
