Thanks to Her New Hearing Aids, Andrea Feels “Less Anxious, Less Fatigued, and More Confident” at Work

Aaron works remotely as a programmer. In addition to programming and systems administration tasks, his job also involves meetings. He has hearing loss in one ear along with severe tinnitus.
“The accommodations greatly improved my ability to hear the spoken word and enhanced my performance in interviews, both in-person and online,” Susan explains. “I am sure the devices will make a difference in my work with clients.”
Priscilla, who is five years old, received an adapted paint spinner from our Hacking for the Holidays campaign. The adapted paint spinner allowed Priscilla to press a switch to paint Christmas ornaments for her family.
Zainab joined our Creative Employment Options program because she was having a hard time finding work after graduating from university with a psychology degree. She was diagnosed with ADHD after finding she couldn’t focus and was having difficulties with other executive functions like memory while studying during the pandemic.
