This Giving Tuesday, help us give the gift of play to children with disabilities by making a donation to our Hacking for the Holidays campaign (new window).
Every child deserves to play. But for many kids with disabilities, toys can be hard to use independently, and commercially adapted versions can run upwards of $300. However, with a little bit of tinkering, we can switch-adapt toys and make them accessible for a fraction of the cost, and donate them to families and therapists across Canada.
A donation of $60 can cover the cost of 1 toy and provide the parts to make 1 switch, giving a child everything they need to play with a new toy this year. Your donation will help us reach our campaign goals and support Makers Making Change in operating on an ongoing basis.
