On Friday, October 17th, our BC team attended the 11th annual BC Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Network Gathering at the VanDusen Botanical Garden, connecting with our friends and partners in the BC SCI Network. It’s always a great opportunity to connect, learn, and share ideas.

By working collaboratively, sharing resources, knowledge, and infrastructure, the BC Spinal Cord Injury Network helps make BC the best place for people with physical disabilities to live, work, and be active.

Activities at the gathering included interactive activities with the Vancouver Adapted Music Society (new window) and Tetra (new window), as well as a tour of the Disabled Independent Gardeners Association (new window)‘s accessible garden (pictured below on the left).

The network is comprised of the following organizations: Neil Squire, BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (new window)BC Wheelchair Sports Association (new window)Disability Foundation (new window), and Spinal Cord Injury BC (new window).
