“Prior to receiving these, I was unable to spend more than 15 minutes at a time sitting at a computer or doing paperwork. Sitting in general was very difficult for me. I was struggling as physical limitations were already limiting the type of work I could do and difficulties with sitting, etc., were making desk-based work very difficult,” Darren says.

Digital Jumpstart Opens New Opportunities for Greg

For over 30 years, Greg worked as a carpenter on Salt Spring Island. Three years ago, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. He joined our Digital Jumpstart program to be able to do more research on the computer and access opportunities that are available digitally, now that he isn’t able to work.

New Hearing Aids Help Laurie Hear Her Clients
