“I feel more confident. Less anxiety. Now I can get more involved in conversations. I also just got a promotion, and this has helped so much,” Michelle says. “[I’m] able to hear the first time and not have to be worried I missed something. It has also helped with my balance as well.”
“[WorkBC Assistive Technology Services] provided the specialized hearing aids I needed and which I couldn’t afford to buy from retail outlets,” Freeman explains.
“My hearing ability had diminished drastically, and I was unable to function at my best. I do a lot of phone intake with women, this is one of the most difficult phone calls they make and not to be able to hear properly was unforgivable,” Marie explains.
“I have been [given] a 5-star rating [by] many clients and the company that I work for is very happy with me as they receive [lots of] positive feedback in regards to my work performance. Some clients have personally told me that I’m doing a stellar job. I am now in high demand.”
