National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) 2026 takes place from May 31st to June 6th. It’s a time to promote accessibility and inclusion across Canada. This week recognizes the important contributions of people with disabilities and encourages efforts to remove barriers, creating a fair and welcoming society for everyone. Ocean Wise Accessible Shoreline Cleanup
Ahead of National AccessAbility Week, join us on Saturday, May 30 for an accessible shoreline cleanup with OceanWise. Our Makers Making Change team will host a booth at Devonian Harbour Park in Vancouver, BC along with other local organizations.
KPU Accessibility Week Event
Makers Making Change will be attending the KPU Accessibility Week Event. Organized by Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s Entertainment Arts program and Including All Citizens, the university will open its doors to faculty, students, and the public to learn about accessibility. There will be presentations and demos for everyone to learn about.
