The University of Lethbridge Agility (new window) program hosted two events in partnership with Makers Making Change (new window), as part of their Youth Making Change (new window) initiative.

In the first event, participants created MMC60 Switches (new window): cost-effective, 3D printed accessibility switches.

For many, it was their first time learning how to solder.

During the second event, participants learned about adaptive gaming (new window) and were able to test and play with different adaptive set ups.

Attendees then worked in groups to build adapted dice spinners (new window).

The switches and dice spinners made at these events were shared with Alberta Health Services’ Lethbridge Community Therapeutic Recreation team. Members of the team also came out and attended both events to learn more about Makers Making Change and Agility.
