The Neil Squire Society announced today that the TELUS Vancouver Community Board will be providing $12,000 to support the Youth Employ-Ability Program; a pre-employment/employment program for youth with physical disabilities in Metro Vancouver.
Today is the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities and we would like to recognize Vancity’s 10th Consecutive year supporting people with disabilities at the Neil Squire Society.
As part of this project we are seeking people with different disabilities who are willing to complete a short survey about the barriers they face when doing their banking and paying for items and services.
On October 25 – 27th, 2013, the Neil Squire Society participated in the University of British Columbia’s hackathon.
