The Ontario Trillium Foundation has granted $45,000 over two years to maintain and expand the Employ-Ability program in Pembroke, Ontario, targeting in particular individuals from the aboriginal communities living in Renfrew County.
On Monday, March 30th, four high school students from Burnaby Central toured the Neil Squire Society and conducted an interview as part of a project for the Toskan Casale Foundation’s Youth and Philanthropy Initiative.
Recently, the Neil Squire Society was featured in an article in the Burnaby Now newspaper.
Six students successfully graduated from the Employ-Ability program in Burnaby, BC, on March 6, 2009.
