BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA–(Marketwire – April 7, 2010) – Dr. Gary Birch, O.C., Executive Director of the Neil Squire Society, was invested into the Order of Canada, accepting his insignia today at 10:30 a.m.
With the help of a $5,000 donation from the FCC Regina Spirit Fund, the Neil Squire Society’s Regina office will create an assistive technology employment service that provides assessments, evaluations, equipment trials and training to introduce assistive technology to those with disabilities.
Vancity Credit Union donated $10,000 at a cheque presentation on February 5th, in support of the Neil Squire Society’s Computer Comfort program, marking the sixth consecutive year of support from them.
