Donya joined our Creative Employment Options program knowing her dream job was to work with children. She had previously attempted the Early Childhood Educator (ECE) program, but due to her disability, she found it difficult to complete assignments and exams.
Having a tough time finding employment after a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Amelia came to Neil Squire for help.
Congratulations to our Empower3D cohort in Saskatchewan for completing their pre-employment and skills training. On Thursday, Prairie Regional Manager Nikki Langdon, Employment Specialist Brad McInnis, and the Empower3D participants celebrated with a cake.
This morning, our Prairie Region team met with the Centre for Experiential and Service Learning at the University of Regina to discuss how we can work together with post-secondary students wanting to increase their experiential learning working with people with disabilities.
