One of our newest additions to the Makers Making Change device library is the Chatterbox, an auditory switch-scanning augmented and alternative communication (AAC) device.
Wade Chang, Member of Parliament for Burnaby Central, recently paid a visit to the Neil Squire Society, a Canadian national non-profit organization, and leader in assistive technology.
Thank you to everyone who made our first AT Summit such a success. Held from February 18th to 19th in Moncton, New Brunswick, we had over 160 assistive technology professionals, educators, disability service organizations, vendors, and community members from Canada and beyond, with participants spanning nine time zones with our virtual presentations.
On Thursday, March 19th, we welcomed Wade Chang, Member of Parliament for Burnaby Central, to our Burnaby Head Office, and were honoured to receive a certificate of recognition.
